Meet the San Francisco Team Behind Meridian Windows and Doors San Francisco

Window work in San Francisco is different. You’re dealing with Victorian frames that haven’t been square since the 1920s, marine-layer moisture, and condos where the HOA wants paperwork before the ladder comes off the truck. Our crew has spent years working those exact jobs. We’re part of the Garrison Partners family, which means every person on this page works to one standard: The Garrison Standard, in place since 2009. And every one of them is background-checked, uniformed, and will tell you their name when they shake your hand.

Our People

Elliot Vance, Owner

Elliot started Meridian Windows and Doors San Francisco because he kept seeing the same problem: crews that installed good windows badly, then vanished when something failed. He named the company after a fixed line you measure everything against, and that’s how he runs every install. Elliot has spent his career in residential window and door work across the Bay Area, and he still walks job sites himself. You’ll hear him before you see him, usually asking a homeowner about fog condensation on their single-pane glass and whether they’ve noticed the noise from the 22 Fillmore bus. He’s the one who signs the written price before any work starts, and the one who answers if something isn’t done right.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been installing windows in San Francisco for over 12 years. He’s the guy who can tell you, within five minutes of looking at a frame, whether you’ve got dry rot hiding behind the trim or just old caulk doing its best. He holds manufacturer certifications for installation across our PGT, CGI, and Therma-Tru lines, and he’s the one who trains new crew members on flashing details that actually hold up to wind-driven rain off the Pacific. Outside of work, Marcus restores old motorcycles in his garage in the Excelsior, which explains why he’s precise about torque specs and even more precise about cleaning up after a job.

Dana R., Senior Installer

Dana joined the team after years doing high-rise window replacements downtown, which means she’s comfortable on a 14th-floor balcony and even more comfortable telling a building manager what the access plan will look like. She specializes in patio door installation, including the heavy multi-slide units we spec from ES Windows and Mr-Glass. Dana is the person you want on a job where the old door hasn’t opened smoothly since the Obama administration. When she’s not on site, she’s hiking in the Marin Headlands or rebuilding the deck stairs at her place in the Sunset, one board at a time. She claims it’s relaxing. Nobody believes her, but the stairs look great.

Priya S., Service Coordinator

Priya is the voice you’ll most likely hear when you call (831) 273-7126. She’s been coordinating window and door projects in the Bay Area for eight years and knows the permit questions for San Francisco, the scheduling realities of getting a crew into a Marina district building, and how to walk a homeowner through what happens on install day without making it sound like a mystery. Priya keeps our written estimates moving and our schedules honest. She’s also the reason every customer knows what time the crew will arrive, because she doesn’t believe in “sometime between 8 and 2.”

Kev M., Apprentice Installer

Kev started with us two years ago as a driver and now works installs under Marcus and Dana. He’s learning the trade the right way: hauling, flashing, leveling, and asking questions instead of pretending he already knows the answer. He’s currently working toward his manufacturer certifications and has already earned the trust of our crew on single-window replacements and caulking details. Kev grew up in Daly City and still gets thrown by how warm it can be in the Mission compared to the fog at his parents’ house. He brings that local knowledge to every job, along with a habit of writing down measurements twice.

One Standard, Every Job

Every person above works under the 365-Day Done Right Promise. That means if an installation or repair fails within a full year, the crew comes back and makes it right, at no charge. No fine print about labor exclusions. No charge for the second visit, either. Elliot put that promise in writing because he’d seen too many homeowners left holding a leaky window and a phone number that went to voicemail. The Garrison Code is what the crew will and won’t do on your job site: show up on time, lay down floor protection, keep the work area clean, and never leave a window unfinished because the clock hit 5:00. The written price you get before work starts is the price you pay, and it doesn’t move at the door. That’s how we’ve done it since 2009, and that’s how the team on this page does it in San Francisco every day.
